Van Gogh Sunflowers

In Te Arai we have been studying Van Gogh as part of our WOW work.

After learning about Van Gogh's famous Sunflowers painting, we thought we'd create our own.  And we had so much fun.

Our examples are from Israel and Tylah and Iharaira.

We made them by:
1.  Planned our work.
2.  Used fabric and plaster of paris to cover the bottle that was cut in half.
3.  We painted our backing board using metallic paint.
4.  Painting our bottles.
5.  Choose our medium (paint, pastel etc)
6. Drawing sunflowers using our medium.
7. Hot glued our bottles onto our backing board.

See if you can make some yourself!
